Fateh The Mustache Man
The Original Kachori Wala · Est. 1952

The Beginning
In 1952, a young man named Fateh Chand set up a small iron kadhai on a dusty corner of Old Delhi. He didn't have a shop, a sign, or even a proper stall — just a recipe he'd spent years perfecting: a blend of 14 hand-ground spices, wrapped in a thin wheat shell and fried until golden.
People called him “The Mustache Man” — for the handlebar mustache he wore with as much pride as his kachoris. Within weeks, the aroma of his kadhai drew crowds. Within months, there was a queue every morning before dawn.
What started as one man's passion became a family legacy — a tradition of taste that has been handed down through three generations and over seven decades, without changing a single spice.
Since 1952
Three simple reasons thousands visit our stall every single day.

The same signature recipe Fateh Chand perfected over 70 years ago. No shortcuts, no changes — just the original crispy crunch and bold spice blend passed down through generations.

From our timeless Fateh Ki Kachodi topped with spiced matra and tangy chutneys, to our modern Chole Kulche Roll — we honor heritage while keeping things exciting.

Affordable, filling, and consistently legendary across two branches. From grandparents to college students, every Delhiite has a Fateh Ki Kachori story.

“This place has maintained its taste in all these years. Kachori chaat is their star item. Matar kulche for breakfast is another must-try. Open for breakfast and evening — a timeless classic!”

“The kachoris were flaky, crispy and big sized, served with a generous amount of matar. The star was the homemade spicy masala and imli chutney. 2 large pieces for ₹40 that keep you full for a long time. Loved Fateh Chand ki kachori!”

“The Kachori was perfectly crisp and full of flavor, while the Chole Kulcha had that authentic Delhi-style taste — spicy, tangy, and very satisfying. It's one of those classic Delhi spots that never disappoints when you're craving good street-style food.”
